Kiana Walker PC follows the professional, ethical and legal guidelines of the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA). Which means the information exchanged and shared during your session will not be shared with anyone without your expressed or written permission.

NOTE: If there is the possibility of harm to the client or another person or in cases of child abuse, Kiana Walker PC staff are mandated to report certain information to the appropriate authorities. Please ask your therapist for more information about confidentiality and ask any questions to further understand it.

Why did you become a counsellor?

As I pursued my studies in psychology and mental health counselling, I realized how transformative it can be to have someone there to support you through life's difficulties. Offering play therapy to children in my hometown and supporting athletes with mental health strategies became my passion and my mission.

Counselling is an opportunity to provide people with the tools and support they need to navigate tough times. For me, it’s about helping individuals of all ages feel heard, understood, and empowered to take control of their lives. The privilege of being part of someone's journey toward healing and growth is what drives me every day.
